The School’s Leadership
The professional community of the North London Rudolf Steiner School is organised collaboratively.
The overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the school lies with the school’s leadership team led by the school’s manager Gabriele Woelfle, supported by a deputy manager. The leadership team has responsibility for the development and direct implementation of the goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the school, including curriculum development, staffing needs, professional development, finance, health and safety, safeguarding, and pedagogical matters.
Teaching staff (all staff directly involved in the teaching of children) meet weekly. Staff meetings provide opportunities to assess children’s progress, share experience and knowledge, deal with daily pedagogical management issues, and evaluate practice.
All individuals working for our school are committed to continuous personal and professional development.
We receive support and advice through the Steiner Waldorf Schools’ Fellowship and Haringey’s Early Years Quality Team. and we are in positive dialogue with other early years practitioners, school inspectors, and the relevant authorities.
